TTO Program Overview

The TTO program is facilitated online in Canvas. Module content include: (a) Foundations of Online Teaching and Learning; (b) Online Applications (tons and tons of tools for the online classroom); (c) Social Emotional Learning; (d) Culturally Responsive Teaching; (e) Computational Thinking; and (f) Legal, Ethical, Socially-Responsible Use.

The program is self-paced and competency based. The training program will include 60 high school teachers, 15 per semester for 4 semesters from spring 2021 to fall 2022.

The program dates for the summer 2022 semester are June 6, 2022 to July 15, 2022.

Teachers will receive a $750.00 stipend after completing the entire program, 5 CCSD credit units (CUs) after completing the entire program, and one-on-one support from the NSC teacher trainer. Support will include virtual classroom observations and monthly check-ins during and after the training program.
